APC Rally in Calabar with a PDP Coffin

Good day to all of us , these are pictures from an APC rally in calabar, which I presume a lot of us would have seen, there is even a video, which shows that the APC governorship candidate and the sitting governor of cross river state were present at the event.

I'm not a PDP member or sympathizer, I am Efik ,I am Qua, I am Efut, I am Kiong, and I am from cross river state and a Nigerian citizen.  I see us derailing and degenerating everyday despite individual contributions of some well meaning  persons.  I recall my last post  which I headlined as "Back to South" where I queried  the one sided execution of  the concept ,which I termed discriminatory , following which I had some bashing from some individuals who felt I should not have said anything in that regard, one "big man" even asked me to leave grammar and support whoever I care or choose. And i dare say that, we might be doing well as individuals, but as a people, we are losing it on the altar of politics, I believe we have the videos of ,Mma Giwa, Donald and the response by Mma Grace and now the APC designed coffin for Hon Ekpeyong Essien Ayi , perpetrated and supported by our brothers and sisters, is Essien from the moon?  I ask again what and which South are we talking about? and in whose interest? Coming at a time when a peace accord initiated by the peace committee and the Kukah foundation was being signed by these same persons.

I cringe and shudder in disbelief, that we could  be so reduced as to wish any Nigerian dead, not to talk of one of the persons we want to govern, by this demonstration in a hot afternoon at the Atu primary school field by Mayne Avenue, calabar South.

It is interesting to see us dance naked.

In furtherance of helping government to humiliate , dehumanize and desecrate our traditional stools. cherishing cheap perks of office, celebrating alien Paramount rulership, over and above the revered heritage of our ancestors.

The governor removes one traditional ruler for attending a meeting which had the chairman of the traditional council in attendance on the grounds that traditional rulers should not be involved in politics only for the same governor and the candidate of his political party to visit another traditional ruler talking politics.  I write this out of deep concern, grief and pain of a people who are so blessed but are fast losing it, unless we decide to wake up and redefine who we truly are.
