Good day to all of us , these are pictures from an APC rally in calabar, which I presume a lot of us would have seen, there is even a video, which shows that the APC governorship candidate and the sitting governor of cross river state were present at the event. I'm not a PDP member or sympathizer, I am Efik ,I am Qua, I am Efut, I am Kiong, and I am from cross river state and a Nigerian citizen. I see us derailing and degenerating everyday despite individual contributions of some well meaning persons. I recall my last post which I headlined as "Back to South" where I queried the one sided execution of the concept ,which I termed discriminatory , following which I had some bashing from some individuals who felt I should not have said anything in that regard, one "big man" even asked me to leave grammar and support whoever I care or choose. And i dare say that, we might be doing well as individuals, but as a people, we are losing it on the altar o...
Not that the PDP government did well, but not in our wildest dreams did we ever imagine, that things could be this bad. The cost of goods and services are on the the roof tops, the insecurity is alarming , delinquent juveniles have become normal as parents have lost control, like the falcon and the falconer in the poetry of WB Yeats's "Things fall apart" as the election of 2023 beckons ,it is back to the people to choose, collect #2000 and mortgage your future and that of your children, there are 18 political parties to choose from. This same individuals are campaigning in Bakassi and other parts of the southern senatorial zone pledging and promising all manner of things, and they know they are...

The front line parties remain the big, not only are they poised to takeover, they are also ready to by up or destroy of the smaller ones especially those that look a bit challenging in whatever manner, such is the lot of the labour party and the African Democratic Congress . the labour party has been able to climb out of that valley largely due to the personality of its presidential candidate and the resurgent Nigerian youth, whilst the African Democratic Congress has not been able to withstand the torrential impact of pressures from outside and so just this week the party that once looked and stood firmly rooted succumbed to the now Nigerian factor, it destroyed its chances in the forth coming elections by breaking into two factions, with the new boys ...
